Change of chairman of FTN

Mats Sjöstrand has requested resignation from his position as chairman of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency, FTN.

"My approach from the start has been to stay on this assignment for two years. The build-up of FTN can be considered more or less complete and therefore it is an appropriate moment to hand over now", says Mats Sjöstrand.

It is the Government Offices of Sweden that grants the resignation and appoints the members and chair of FTN.

Facts
• The Swedish Fund Selection Agency is governed by the board, which consists of up to seven members appointed by the Government Office.
• The vice-chair is Maria Rydbeck, Director General of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
• In the event of the dismissal of ordinary members, the Government Offices appoint replacements.
