Fee updates for 2026
The Swedish Fund Selection Agency has decided on fee changes that will come into effect in 2026. The annual fee will remain unchanged, while the tender fee will be increased.
The Swedish Fund Selection Agency's operations are financed outside the state budget, through fees from tenderers and fund managers with funds on the premium pension fund platform. The fees are reviewed annually to ensure that they cover costs in the long term. The Swedish Fund Selection Agency and the Swedish Government have now decided on the fees that will apply for 2026.
From January 1, 2026, the following will apply:
- The tender fee will be increased from SEK 18,000 to SEK 35,000.
- The annual monitoring fee for affiliated funds will be reduced from SEK 20,000 to SEK 15,000.
- The annual fee for procured funds will remain unchanged at 0.005 percent per annum of assets under management on the fund platform for funds with low complexity, and 0.015 percent for funds with normal complexity.
The fee changes are being implemented to bring the fees more in line with the actual cost of monitoring existing funds and evaluating received tenders.
