Information for the procurement of actively managed technology funds

Today, June 2 2025, the Swedish Fund Selection Agency presents a preliminary procurement specification for the fund category global technology equity funds, actively managed investing primarily in large- and mid-cap companies.

Today, there are 10 actively managed global technology funds investing primarily in large- and mid-cap companies in the “IT and communication” category on the fund platform. The category has assets under management of approximately SEK 124 billion and the procurement affects around 500,000 premium pension savers*.

The preliminary procurement specification is attached in full below. Please note that this is only a draft and the final and governing specification will be presented when notice is made for the procurement. The preliminary specification is shared to allow potential tenderers to prepare and submit questions and comments. Questions and comments can be sent to procurement@ftn.se up until 31 August 2025. The Swedish Fund Selection Agency will not answer all questions but review and consider all comments received.

The procurement will be announced at the earliest in late September/early October 2025.

*Assets under management represent the current volume allocated to the category per 31-03-25. There is no guarantee that the procured volume will correspond to the current volume.
