Information for the procurement of equity and index funds, US & North America

On 3 November 2025, the Swedish Fund Selection Agency, FTN publishes the preliminary procurement specifications for the procurements of US and North American equity and index funds primarily focused on large- and mid-cap companies.

There are currently eleven actively managed US & North American equity funds focused on large- and mid-cap companies available on the premium pension fund platform. This category represents a total capital of approximately SEK 12 billion*.

The category of US & North American index funds comprises six funds, representing approximately SEK 29 billion in total capital. The actively managed funds and the index funds will be procured through two separate, parallel processes. Together, these procurements will impact approximately 244,000 premium pension savers*.

The preliminary procurement specifications can be found in full below. Please note that these documents are draft versions. The final and binding specifications will be published when the procurement is formally announced.

The purpose of publishing the drafts is to allow potential tenderers to prepare in advance and to submit questions or comments regarding the upcoming procurement.

Questions and comments should be sent to procurement@ftn.se no later than 31 December 2025. FTN will not respond to all questions individually, but all submitted comments will be reviewed and considered.
The procurements are planned to be announced during the first quarter of 2026.
