Mats Dillén new chairman of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency
Today, 13th June 2024, the government has appointed Mats Dillén as chairman of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency. He succeeds Mats Sjöstrand, who will step down on 31 July 2024.
Mats Dillén is an economist and former Director General of the National Institute of Economic Research. He also has a background as a ministerial adviser in the Government Offices and a member of the Fiscal Policy Council. Today, Mats Dillén is chairman of the Swedish Nuclear Waste Fund and a member of the board of the Swedish Tax Agency.
Mats Sjöstrand, who has been chairman of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency since the authority was established in June 2022, has requested his resignation from the assignment after a long and faithful service within the state.
