Monthly update on the judicial review of the procurement of global equity funds - August 2026
The Administrative Court in Stockholm is continuing to handle Indecap’s application concerning the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s procurement of actively managed global equity funds (case number 4909-26). Below is an update on how the proceedings has developed during August.
On 13 July, Indecap submitted a new statement in the case, following the statement submitted by the Swedish Fund Selection Agency to the Administrative Court on 29 May 2026.
The Administrative Court in Stockholm has not requested the Swedish Fund Selection Agency to respond to Indecap’s statement, and no further exchange of written submissions has taken place.
The procurement of actively managed global equity funds is FTN’s largest to date and concerns total premium pension capital of approximately SEK 200 billion. The Administrative Court is examining the issues raised in the case, including whether FTN has complied with the procurement rules applicable to the premium pension fund platform. No timetable has been set for when the judgment will be delivered.
