Monthly update on the judicial review of the procurement of global equity funds - July 2026

The Administrative Court in Stockholm is continuing to handle Indecap’s application concerning the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s procurement of actively managed global equity funds (case number 4909-26). Below is an update on how the proceedings has developed during July.

On 13 July, Indecap submitted a new statement in the case, following the statement submitted by the Swedish Fund Selection Agency to the Administrative Court on 29 May 2026.

In previous statements, FTN has contested Indecap’s claims and set out the Agency’s assessment that the procurement has been conducted in accordance with applicable legislation. As of 31 July, FTN had not received any order from the Administrative Court to comment on Indecap’s latest submission.

The procurement of actively managed global equity funds is FTN’s largest to date and concerns total premium pension capital of approximately SEK 200 billion. The Administrative Court is examining the issues raised in the case, including whether FTN has complied with the procurement rules applicable to the premium pension fund platform. No timetable has yet been set for when the judgment will be delivered.
