Monthly update on the judicial review of the procurement of global equity funds - June 2026
The Administrative Court in Stockholm is continuing to review Indecap’s application concerning the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s procurement of actively managed global equity funds (case number 4909-26). Below is an account of how the process has developed during June.
During June, the Swedish Fund Selection Agency has been awaiting Indecap’s statement in response to the statement submitted to the Administrative Court in Stockholm on 29 May. Indecap has, during this period, requested, and been granted extensions on two occasions. The new date for Indecap to submit its statement is 10 July 2026.
The procurement of actively managed global equity funds is so far the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s largest procurement, with an estimated value of approximately SEK 200 billion. The Administrative Court is examining whether Fondtorgsnämnden has complied with the procurement rules applicable to the premium pension fund platform. No timetable has yet been set for when a judgment will be issued.
