Nordic equity funds next in line to be procured

FTN now releases which two categories that are next in line to be procured to the premium pension fund platform. The next two categories to be announced are actively managed Nordic equity funds mid/large cap and actively managed Nordic equity funds small cap.

As previously announced, FTN plans to give notice of the procurements of global and European index funds at the end of February. The two Nordic* categories that are now communicated to be next in line will be given notice after the upcoming index procurements, decided on by the board of FTN during mid-February.

Currently, there is one category for Nordic equity funds on the premium pension fund platform. The category consists of 17 funds with a total AUM of approximately SEK 22 billion**. The decision by the board of FTN means that the previous category is divided into two separate procurements. Fund managers wishing to participate in both procurements will need to submit two separate tenders.

The board of FTN has not decided when notice will be given for the procurements of Nordic equity funds nor the procurement specifications. When further information is available, FTN will communicate this to the market.

In addition to these procurements, notice is planned during 2024 for the following procurements, without consecutive order:
• Global bonds: AUM of ~ SEK 0.7 bn*
• Swedish Equities, Actively managed: AUM of ~ SEK 88 bn*
• Swedish Equities, Index: AUM of ~ SEK 54 bn*

FTN welcomes comments and questions on the procurement plan, which can be sent to procurement@ftn.se. FTN will not be able to answer all questions, but will review and consider all submitted comments.
