US equity and US index funds next in line for procurement
Today, the 24 September 2025, The Swedish Fund Selection Agency, FTN, informs that the fund categories US equity funds and US index funds will be announced during the first quarter of 2026.
There are currently 11 actively managed US equity funds focusing on large and mid-cap companies on the premium pension fund platform. The category comprises a capital of approximately SEK 12 billion*. The category of US equity index funds focusing on large and mid-cap companies consists of six funds and comprises a total capital of approximately SEK 29 billion*.
The next procurement to open for tenders is actively managed technology funds, which are scheduled to be announced in October 2025. The procurements of US equity and US index funds are next in line and will thus be procurement number 12 and 13.
The procurement of US equity and US equity index funds are planned to open for tenders during the first quarter of 2026. More detailed information about the timing and publication of preliminary procurement specifications will be published as soon as FTN deems it possible.
