Procured funds
The Swedish Fund Selection Agency, FTN is financed outside the state budget to ensure long-term sustainability and independence. FTN's operations are funded through two types of fees paid by fund managers participating in procurements and by fund managers awarded and entering into agreements for procured funds.
1. Tender fee
Fund managers submitting a tender in a procurement pay a tender fee of SEK 35,000 per tender for 2026. The fee covers the costs of reviewing and assessing the tender and must be paid when the tender is submitted.
2. Annual fee for procured funds
The Swedish Fund Selection Agency charges an annual fee from fund managers that have entered into agreements for procured funds. This platform fee is calculated based on assets under management and varies by fund type:
Low complexity: 0.005 percent of assets under management
Standard complexity: 0.015 percent of assets under management
The fee is invoiced from the date the fund is implemented on the fund platform, and thereafter quarterly based on assets at the beginning of each quarter.
Fee levels will be evaluated regularly to ensure cost coverage and organizational efficiency. Adjustments may therefore be made.
