The government has appointed the board members

The institution of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency is the result of the Swedish Riksdag's decision of 31 May 2022 to reform the premium pension system. Newly appointed chair of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency is Mats Sjöstrand, former Director-General of the Swedish Tax Agency.

Newly appointed as deputy chair is Maria Rydbeck, Deputy Director-General of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

Also appointed are Åsa Edman, Chief Legal Officer at Adda AB, Hans Lindblad, formerly Director-General of the National Debt Office, Katarina Staaf, President of the Seventh AP Fund, Mikael Westberg, Legal Counsel at the National Insurance Agency and Anna Nilsdotter, Secretary-General of WaterAid, as members.

All appointments apply as of 20 June 2022 to and including 31 May 2025.
