Board members
The Government has appointed seven members to govern the Swedish Fund Selection Agency.
Chairman of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency is Mats Dillén, economist and chairman of the Swedish Nuclear Waste fund. Mats is the former Director General of the National Institute of Economic Research, and has a background as a ministerial adviser in the Government Offices and a member of the Fiscal Policy Council.
Deputy chair is Maria Rydbeck, Director General of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
Members of the board are:
Katarina Staaf, President of the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP 6).
Anna Nilsdotter, Secretary General of WaterAid.
Hanna Kristiansson, judge at the Administrative Court of Appeal in Stockholm.
Anders Sjöborg, General Counsel and Head of Security at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV.
Henric Braconier, Economist and Executive Director of Banking at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
The appointments are valid:
- Mats Dillén's appointment is valid from 1 August 2024 to July 31 2027.
- Maria Rydbeck's appointment are valid from 20 June 2022 to 31 May 2028.
- Katarina Staaf's appointment are valid from 20 June 2022 to 31 May 2028.
- Anna Nilsdotter's appointment are valid from 20 June 2022 to 31 May 2028.
- Hanna Kristiansson's appointment is valid from 20 July 2023 to 31 August 2026.
- Anders Sjöborg's appointment is valid from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027.
- Henric Braconier's appointment is valid from 8 May 2024 to 31 May 2027.
